Alex TrebekThe wisdom lives on.
Less than a month after the TV presenter died, it’s Jeopardy! shared a special clip of the 80-year-old delivering a Thanksgiving message to viewers at home.
“You know, despite what America and the rest of the world are going through, there are many reasons to be grateful,” Alex began in the video posted on November 26th. “There are more and more people reaching out to help their neighbors, and that is a good thing. Keep the faith. We will get through all of this and be a better society.”
The news came in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic as Jeopardy! followed all safety protocols provided by health officials. The show had a brief hiatus earlier this year.
While the presenter died on November 8th after battling pancreatic cancer, Alex’s last day of shooting in the studio was on October 29th.
