Selena Gomez stays fed up with some content she recently saw on social media.
The star shared her concern on Twitter on Wednesday, December 2, by posting a post from the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a London-based nonprofit that focuses on lobbying tech firms to seek users eliminate who disseminate content they perceive to be harmful.
The CCDH’s November 23 tweet included a number of accounts the group referred to as “selling racist products on Facebook and Instagram”. The message continued: “Facebook left these sites online even though they were informed about it 3 days ago. @Facebook, please remove this neo-Nazi network completely now.”
This prompted Selena to reply, “I’m speechless. @Facebook @Instagram How do you tolerate this hatred? There are still accounts even though you’ve been notified !!”
E! The news asked Facebook and Instagram for a comment.
This is not the first time the UNICEF Ambassador has expressed her anger over the social media landscape. In September, she went to her Instagram story to share a DM she sent to Facebook managers Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg.
