Move over Kardashians … Charli D’Amelio, who has over 100 million followers on TikTok, and her family have their own reality show.
Hulu has ordered The D’Amelio Show, an eight-part series that follows the family and has a combined social media presence of over 250 million followers.
The series, set to debut in 2021, has been in the works for some time. The influencers reveal moves throughout the year. It will follow Charli, Dixie, Papa Marc and Mama Heidi as they steer their sudden rise to fame.
It’s the best-known TV series with rising TikTok stars and comes when others move into the space. Wheelhouse Entertainment recently signed a deal with TikToker’s Hype House to develop The Hype Life.

Charli D’Amelio, who was a competitive dancer before starting her social media career, is widely considered to be the biggest TikTok star with dances over popular songs. She recently made her film debut, voicing the animated feature StarDog and TurboCat.
Her sister Dixie, who is now pursuing a music career in LA, also has tens of millions of social media followers. Her father Marc D’Amelio is a former Connecticut Republican Senate candidate, and her mother Heidi is a photographer and former model.
The series is produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation, the company behind Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath by A&E and This Is Paris by YouTube. Toddlers & Tiaras and Swamp Mamas executive producer Sara Reddy is a showrunner and will produce with Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman and Esther Frank.
