Los Angeles Movie Critics Unfold The Love With Their Awards

0

Just moments ago, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association posted its 2020 awards on Twitter. As always, some of their decisions were a little outside the left field, but also far less than in previous years. Think of it as a side benefit of the year that is so unique in that a wider range of films are considered. The grand prize went to Steve McQueen’s Small Ax, while other cited films and performances include Carey Mulligan and Promising Young Woman in Best Actress (Emerald Fennell also picked Best Screenplay for her work in writing the film), Chloe Zhao for Nomadland in Best Director as well Chadwick Boseman and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom for Best Actor. Read on for all the winners …
