Scottish supermodel Stella Tennant died suddenly, her family announced on Wednesday, December 23.
She died on Tuesday, five days after her 50th birthday, the Guardian said in a statement. “It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on December 22nd, 2020,” said her message. “Stella was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to all of us. She will be greatly missed. Her family asks for privacy. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.”
Although a cause of death is not yet known, a spokesman for Police Scotland told E! News There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. “The officers were called to an address in Duns on Tuesday, December 22, at around 11:30 am following the sudden death of a 50-year-old woman,” the spokesman said. “Your immediate relatives have been made aware … a report will be presented to the Treasury Attorney.”
Tennant is survived by an estranged husband David Lasnet, her son Marcel, 22, and three daughters –Cecily, 19, jasmine, 18 and irisThe supermodel’s death comes four months after the Daily Mail reported that she and Lasnet split after 21 years of marriage.
