Billie Eilish severely warned fans about hair dye and the damage it can do to your precious locks. The singer spoke from experience after a fan asked about a time when her hair was “the most fucked”. Here’s what she said …
Billie Eilish got real with her fans when she took part in the Post a Photo of Instagram Story Challenge on December 29th. The 19-year-old Grammy winner revealed the story behind her signature mullet haircut – a look that wasn’t planned. When a fan asked Billie to share a photo of “The Most Fucked Hair Was,” the “Bad Guy” singer provided photo and video evidence of her previous haircut that went wrong.
In the video, Billie can be seen pulling short strands of hair from the top layer of her hair near her scalp. She seemed confused by the hair loss, which was a perfectly fair reaction. Billie gave the clip a tip for fans who might be thinking of coloring their hair: “Don’t trust anyone who says they’re good at color [sic] My hair stayed in pieces for the next two months after that (f). “
Billie’s hair break, which resulted in a mullet haircut, occurred sometime late last year. While she didn’t reveal the latter, the singer shared a photo on the red carpet (see below) at the LACMA Art + Film Gala on November 4, 2019 at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles – and she still looked amazing ! At the time, Billie was honest with a reporter about what had happened to her hair.

“Mullet? What do you mean by mullet? You know what happened? Someone dyed my hair and burned half of it off,” she said to TMZ at the time and explained: “It’s not on purpose, though. I’m waxing that out.” Although Billie’s hairstyle was an accident, she unwittingly continued the age-old hairstyle and inspired a whole new generation of fans to do the same.
