New on Netflix as a faux-turned-real couple Shonda Rhimes Bridgerton series, Regé-Jean page and Phoebe Dynevor have sizzling chemistry. However, for those wondering if that chemistry translates off camera, the two play it shyly.
In an interview with Access Hollywood on January 9th Scott Evans and Kit Hoover, Page and Dynevor were asked who was on the Bridgerton camera.
“I think all you need to know is on camera,” explained Page. “I think the sparkling words, the scripts and the material are more than enough.”
While the hosts joked that Page and Dynevor, who were talking on video from different locations, they were probably playing “Footsie” under the table, the two laughed.
The romance may be the hot thing to discuss about Bridgerton, but it wasn’t what drew Dynevor to the project in the beginning.
“I think the first thing I noticed was Shondaland at Regency. It was so exciting for me,” said the former younger actress. “I knew women would have an agency. They wouldn’t be the shy women we sometimes saw in Regency dramas.”
