EXCLUSIVE: More than 15 years after leading celebrity talent booking agency JB Talent launched, the Beverly Hills-based company is renamed The Talent.
At the announcement, CEO and founder Jen Kasle said the change was a natural progression.
“The company’s growth and success has been immense over the past 15 years,” said Kasle. “I know that the company is only as great as the team that I employ. This achievement would not have been possible without the unique contributions of Sarah Goldsmith, 11 years with the company, and Julie Rashid, 9 years with the company, who have served as my vice presidents for talent. So I’m very excited to announce the well-deserved promotions of Sarah and Juliet to co-presidents. With these advances, it felt right to move away from a name that represents the individual and move on to a rebranding that embodies the spirit of the company and the team culture we foster. “
In addition, Marisa Shold was promoted to Director of Talent, Kera Schulze to Talent Executive and Nicole Schloss to Talent Booker.
The Talent is an independent boutique agency specializing in booking talk shows, celebrity auditions, award show hosts and cast, magazine covers, charity events, photo shoots, advertisements or advertorials, and nonprofits.
Customers include an 11-year partnership booking all seasons of The Talk on CBS, cast members on Dennis Miller + One, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on NBC, and national and international tours for The USO. The Talent is also a leader in attracting presenters to award shows including the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, and the NBA Awards. The Talent also books Match Game, The $ 100,000 Pyramid, To Tell the Truth and Hollywood Game Night.
