1. Brew a bag of black tea and let it cool to room temperature. Soak a cotton ball in this tea and pat it all over your face. Applying a preparation of this black tea regularly removes blemishes and visibly tightens the skin.

2. Black Tea and Honey Exfoliating Mask: Brew a bag of black tea or soak it in hot water for 3 to 4 minutes. When the tea has cooled to room temperature, mix 1 tablespoon of honey and apply it to the face and neck, leave for 20 minutes and rinse with plain water.
3. Black Tea and Multani Mitti: This is a cleansing and firming mask with the goodness of Multani Mitti and black tea. Take 3 tablespoons of brewed black tea and 1 tablespoon of multani mitti. Mix well to make a thin paste, apply all over face, keep for 15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
4. If you have inflamed and irritated skin, the soothing properties of black tea can help soothe redness and irritation. Dip a black tea bag in hot water and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes. Take the sachet out and store it in the refrigerator for 10 or 15 minutes. Take it out and apply it to the affected area. Repeat this process as often as needed until the redness and inflammation have subsided. This way you can use two sachets to deflate the eye area.
5. Black tea and avocado mask: Avocado with its healthy fats and vitamin A and E content moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and supple. To make this mask, take half an avocado, mash it well and add 2 tablespoons of black tea. You can also add some oatmeal powder. Mix well and apply to face and neck. Rinse off after 20 minutes to leave the skin visibly soft.
6. Black Tea and Potato Juice: This is a skin-lightening and glowing mask that requires 1 tablespoon each of freshly extracted potato juice and black tea. Apply to face and neck and wash off after half an hour. Do this regularly to get rid of the tan as well.
7. Oatmeal and Black Tea Mask: This is an exfoliating mask that requires 1 tablespoon of oatmeal plus 2 tablespoons of brewed black tea. Mix well as above and apply to face. Do this regularly to clear any clogging of the skin.

A bonus tip – if bleach turns your facial hair too golden, you can tone it down by taking some black tea and brewing it for some time. Apply to the face and leave for a while. Wash with cold water after drying. Repeat this remedy every day to remove the golden hairs from the face.
