Gotham Awards Go To “Nomadland” And Extra

The 30th annual Gotham Awards took place yesterday, another notable moment in the award and previous season. Unsurprisingly, Best Feature went to Chloe Zhao’s Nomadland, while Breakthrough Series (Long Form) went to Watchmen. Apart from that, there were consistently a few surprises at a low level. Riz Ahmed was named Best Actor for Sound of Metal against Chadwick Boseman for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Nicole Beharie scored best actress for Miss Juneteenth, Frances McDormand for Nomadland or Yuh-Jung Youn for Minari.
