Kodak Black may have been convicted by President Donald Trump – but now South Carolina attorneys want him back behind bars for an ongoing sexual assault case.
According to Courthouse News, Florence County attorney Ed Clements plans to bring Kodak to South Carolina to face sexual assault charges. Trump’s grace from the president only applies to federal, not state, indictments – and Trump made no mention of that case when he granted the rapper’s grace.
‘FOR LIFE’ TRAILER
Kodak is accused of forcing itself on a woman in a hotel room in February 2016. She claims that he bit her neck and chest despite “repeated statements” [him] stop “during the sexual encounter.
The rapper’s South Carolina attorney Beattie Ashmore spoke to TMZ about plans to prosecute Kodak.
“Aggressive law enforcement? It’s been four years. That speaks volumes,” the lawyer told the news agency. “Kodak was incarcerated and on tour for two years before its federal trial even began.”
