MTO News learned that a 49-year-old Washington, DC man was shot once in the head at close range after shaking hands with a teenage gang member.
Marcus Covington, 49, of Southwest DC, died Wednesday of injuries in Tuesday’s gunfire. He was shot dead on the platform of the Anacostia subway station Tuesday afternoon and police are looking for the suspect they believe was involved in the fatal shootout.
The entire shoot was shot on camera and it’s terrifying. In the video, the two men appear to be friendly. At some point, Marcus picks up the teen and “dabs” him.
