When I moved from LA to New York last spring, there were some pretty obvious changes that I was expecting – first, the icy winter storms at the polar vortex level and things like my work and my social life. Other things were a little more unexpected, however: a global pandemic that broke out in NYC in the second week of life, and no less surprisingly, my own wardrobe. Okay, I could have predicted the latter would change, but after a few years as one of the Who What Wear-based editors already under my belt, how much could my wardrobe really change? It turns out pretty much.
Pandemic or not, life in NYC is just too specific to just copy and paste everything I was used to on the West Coast.
