Two days before the announcement of the child’s death, Safiyyah shared cute photos of Azaylia sleeping in her stroller.
“When I wake up in the morning and see your beautiful face, my heart immediately bubbles with love for you,” she wrote. “Being your mom taught me a lot about life, myself, and other people. I’m great for this lesson [sic] for … this trip we were on I’ve had some of the best days of my life, watching you hit all of your milestones and just enjoying being a mummy to you. I don’t have time to think about or care about my own feelings or desires because yours come first, that’s what mom does [sic] are for.”
She said her daughter was cared for around the clock at home with the help of a home nurse who visited her.
“She was promised to give her 100% every day,” she wrote, “even when her eyes are closed, I speak to sing and shake her favorite rattles so that she is constantly in a positive mood.” I never thought I would as we all take life for granted. “
She continued, “I decided to put Azaylia in her stroller outside in the shade today to get some fresh air and hear different noises. Remember, it’s the little things in life that really make a difference. Azaylia yours [sic] My inspiration and my hero mom love you. For everyone who is reading this Have a nice day and enjoy your moments, they are special. “
