Bravo executives mailed their Real Housewives of Atlanta renewals yesterday – and their decisions are shocking. MTO News learned exclusively that for the first time in the show’s history, NONE of the housewives had been fired.
MTO News spoke to a Bravo executive who told us that all housewives who hold peaches have been consulted, but there have been some changes.
The executive stated, “Everyone was asked back, except Tanya – who made it clear that she no longer wants to be part of the show.”
The executive continued, “But there was a change in the line-up – Kandi received a significant wage cut and Kenya received a raise.” The executive described Kandi’s wage cut as a “downgrade”.
According to Bravo Insider, Kenya is now the highest paid homemaker, making about $ 1.5 million for the coming season. She is followed by Kandi with $ 1 million and Porsha with a little less. Kandi had been the highest paid housewife, making nearly $ 2 million last season, the insider told MTO News.
“Drew and Latoya will be back and Latoya was offered a peach,” the insider said. However, it’s not clear whether Latoya will take on the role.
But if you think the cast is fully set, you’d be wrong.
The insider told MTO News: “We are looking for potential new cast members – and I expect there will be new women in the next season.”
There have been rumors that former housewives Phaedra Parks and Sheree Whitfield are eager to return to the top-rated show.
